FAQ: Wedding photography High Wycombe

Is wedding photography worth it?

Investing in a quality wedding photographer is definitely worth it. Wedding photography captures the emotion and beautiful moments of your wedding day in a way that nothing else can and is your true moment of all the waning and details for your big day. A professional wedding photographers will be able to capture beautiful and unique images that will last a lifetime. As well as giving you stunning photos, the experience of working with a professional photographer can truly enhance your big day and will help ensure that your big day is remembered forever.

Do you pay a wedding photographer up front?

Most wedding photographers will require a deposit up front as payment, usually at the time of booking. This is usually a percentage of their total fee and can be anywhere from 10%-50%. The remainder of your payment should be complete before or on the day of the wedding, depending on the agreement you have set with your photographer. I ask for 50% of your booking to secure your wedding date and the rest is due 3 months before your wedding.

What's the Best Time for a Wedding Photographer to Arrive?

Wedding photographers should typically arrive two to three hours before the wedding ceremony and stay two to three hours after the reception has begun. This will give them enough time to capture getting ready shots, bridal party photos, the ceremony and reception detail shots. The more time a photographer has, the better prepared they are to capture all the meaningful highlights.
