How to photograph a christening - Pro Tips!

When it comes to capturing a christening, I always rely on my trusty Nikon 85mm 1.4 lens. It's the perfect choice for shooting in dimly lit churches. It lets in plenty of light, creating a beautiful creamy bokeh effect in the background. Babies are naturally drawn to light and so I always make sure to include pictures with their christening candle in the collection. Lastly, since many vicars prefer re-enacting baptisms after church services, this gives me a great opportunity to set up the perfect flash lighting for the font.
