There’s a moment, just before I press the shutter, when everything aligns. The baby settles. The smiles connect. The subject relaxes and I know I’ve got it. That’s the magic I live for.

Whether I’m photographing a brand-new baby or a brand-new brand. A wedding, a party, or a set of headshots. My work is always rooted in connection, intuition and timing. Knowing when to wait for the moment and when to gently create it.

Because ultimately, photography is about more than images. It’s about helping people tell their story.

That quote has always stuck with me. Because everything changes. Families grow. Businesses evolve. Children get bigger. And that carefully planned wedding day becomes a blur by morning.

My job is to hold on to the moments that matter. To give you something real to return to. Whether it’s the joy of your daughter’s first birthday. Your wild, wonderful family all in one frame. The quiet pride of a business success, or the spark in a portrait that makes someone say “I want to work with them”.

A little history

With over 20 years in the photography industry, I’ve seen it all. From glamorous shoots in around the world to muddy wedding fields. Sleek product launches too chaotic toddler sessions. What those years have taught me is how to read a room. How to find the light. How to put people at ease and capture them at their best. Whether they’re walking down the aisle, cutting a cake, leading a team or cuddling their newborn.

I now work from my calm, purpose-built photography studio in Buckinghamshire, and travel all over the country for weddings, events and business shoots. Wherever I go, I’ll create a space where you can just be; And trust that I’ll take care of the rest.

When you book a session with me, you’re not just hiring a photographer. You’re getting someone who’ll hold your baby while you hunt down a missing sock. Someone who’ll lie on the floor, climb a ladder or wedge herself behind a pot plant. All in the name of the perfect angle.

Someone who’ll lend you a hairband, steam a dress, straighten a wonky tie and quietly remove the fire extinguisher from the background. Someone who’ll bring a safety pin, wipe toddler drool off your shoulder, and straighten the cake stand before you’ve even noticed it’s off-centre. And yes, someone who bumps her head on her own studio lights at least once per session. It’s all part of the service. Helping you relax, enjoy the moment, and trust that I’ve got it covered.

Yes, I’m a Nikon girl through and through. Their sensor quality is unbeatable, and I’ve built up a beloved collection of lenses over the years. Some are old mount classics that still deliver magic — like your gran’s roast potatoes. If it works, don’t mess with it.

In the studio, I use Bowens lighting alongside my custom LuxS boom system — it gives me that perfect soft glow while keeping the floor clear for little (or clumsy) feet. When I’m out on location, my Godox kit comes with me. It’s light, flexible and perfect for everything from windy wedding venues to small home offices.
